With the sounds of the Clipsal humming happily in the background, Ceberano and her entourage performed a variety of numbers, including a large array of covers from the last thirty years. The entourage itself was spectacular. In particular, Elliot's incredible vocal and musical talent stood out – albeit hidden under the shadow of a hat – as did James Ryan's culpable finesse with his guitar.
The performance did start off very slowly, and I found myself disengaged by the third song, whereas the final songs, including "Pash", brought palpable energy to the room. There is no denying Ceberano's voice has incredible range and strength, however, the song choices didn't display this ability. In addition, the continuous on-stage banter was scarcely audible, rarely amusing and distracted from the overall performance.
