Vintage Yellow Straw Wide Brim Hat: Floral Veil, Garden 。What a beautiful combination of colors! This 1950\'s yellow round crown and black wide brim hat stands out because of the iridescent rooster feathers attached around the wide brim. The brim is turned down at one side, to create a dramatic effect partially covering one eye. Label: MR. JOHN CLASSIC - NEW YORK - PARIS Mr. John Classic hats reached their peak popularity in the 1940s and 1950s, during which the brand was considered the \"Christian Dior of hats\". The legendary milliner John Pico Harberger designed hats for over 1,000 classic Hollywood films and major stars. Please keep in mind that you are buying a vintage hat, not new nor perfect! This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, furs, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age. Mannequin not for sale.
