Vintage Matterhorn Hiking Mountaineering 6.5 Rare Taiwan ROC Leather Gorpcore
download picture
description
Step into late-1970s trail style with these vintage Matterhorn® hiking boots, made in Taiwan R.O.C. during the golden age of mountaineering footwear. These are authentic, rugged, and built in the crossover era between heavy leather boots and lightweight trail shoes — perfect for collectors, outdoor enthusiasts, or gorpcore fans who appreciate rare heritage designs.
Constructed with golden tan roughout suede, durable woven nylon, and green leather accents, they feature classic two-tone red and green rope laces and a thick lugged rubber outsole for traction. These early Matterhorns are part of the brand’s rare athletic outdoor line produced under Wellco Enterprises, known for their high-performance military and tactical footwear.
