Leslie James | best\'s apparel | SEATTLE Best\'s Apparel was a high-end, luxury fashion department store based in Seattle. In 1963, Nordstrom acquired Best\'s Apparel (eventually renaming the merged stores to Nordstrom Best before dropping \"Best\" entirely in the early 1970s). Because this hat features the combined \"best\'s apparel\" store branding alongside the designer name, it dates precisely to the mid-1960s (roughly 1963–1969) ____________________ Vintage 1960s Leslie James cellophane straw hat, champagne gold shiny woven bucket cloche, Best’s Apparel Seattle department store fashion, retro mid-century mod style, cocktail church dress hat, Kentucky Derby horse race fashion, high gloss synthetic raffia bonnet, sheer mesh floral ribbon trim, elegant old Hollywood pinup look
