REGINA HATS | Accessories | Splendid 93s Black Felt Cloche 。This beautiful cloche hat is made of black felt. The top of the crown has topstitched lines spraying forward from the back. The short brim is folded upwards at the back and has black shiny fabric bands that come together with a felt bow. Women’s hats in the 1930s covered the hair and were used to mysteriously cover one eye or the forehead. Cloche hats or otherwise called slouch hats were a very fitted hat usually made of a felt material that were bell shaped. The front brim could be floppy or sturdy and was used to cover the forehead and eyes. Hats were normally worn asymmetrically and slightly tilted or propped to one side of the head. Label: REGINA HATS This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age. Mannequin not for sale.
