Vintage Neiman Marcus Black Velvet Hat. For Sale at Ruby Lane。This is so stunning and unique. This is a 1950s hat from Neiman Marcus. It was designed by Laddie Northridge. I have never seen jewel detailing such as this. There is a large “gem” at the center of red stones, and simulated pearls with sequins. ( age appropriate wear.)The large gems appear to be plastic.it is a black velvet hat. ( it feels like sheared fur) The hat is in gently worn preloved condition. There is a wee of sequin loss. I have shown a close up of this. It does not detract. Photos!
