They are used, but they’re still in good condition and have no deep cuts, tears, busted seams, broken eyelets, etc as shown in the photos. I just bought my third pair of them and they are the most comfortable work boots I have found (I have owned several boots from other quality brands such as Thorogood, Redwing, etc.) and I am on my feet all day every day in these. They are truly waterproof and my feet have never been wet while wearing these, but they are still able to breathe. My feet do not sweat like they did when I used to wear other brands of “waterproof” boots. The waterproofing is via the Keen Dry lining and not from a chemical treatment or mink oil.
